Today’s History Notes brings you a look back at CCSO’s third season which featured a concert by Alec Templeton at Miller High School Auditorium. In 1948, Templeton, a talented Welsh composter, pianist, satirist and radio personality, played an eclectic concert that included a Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto as well as boogie-woogie piano improvisations and a satire on a Wagnerian opera.
