Symphony No. 1 in C Minor - Brahms

The CCSO presents the music of two women composers: former Del Mar College professor Betsy Schramm and Florence Price, a pioneer in the field of classical music. This exciting performance includes a concerto for an instrument not often seen on the stage of a symphony concert: a harmonica….yes, a harmonica! played by American virtuoso Robert Bonfiglio. The evening concludes with one of the most gorgeous symphonies by German composer Johannes Brahms. A concert not to be missed!
