Symphony Guild

The Symphony Guild was organized in 1954 to aid the Symphony Society in its endeavor to further the cultivation of the art of music in Corpus Christi and the Coastal Bend area.  The Symphony Guild was incorporated in 1980.

The purpose for which the Guild is now organized is to aid the Corpus Christi Youth Orchestra and the Corpus Christi Orchestra and to further the cultivation of the art of music in Corpus Christi and Community.

Guild Members participate in a variety of activities, through committees and special event projects, to support the CCSO and also to promote better music education opportunities for the Youth in our Coastal Bend community.

The Guild has a wonderful year planned.  The Guild meets at 11:30 a.m. on the first Monday of the Month at Ara’s Seafood & Steaks, 6917 S. Staples Street.  Meetings take place September to December and February to May. If the First Monday falls on a holiday, then the meeting is held the second Monday.

There are four classes of Membership:

Contributing Member (non-voting): $75 per season or $500 lifetime

(Note: Members must serve 3 seasons as Active before becoming eligible for Associate membership)
