CCSO On The Go & Education Concerts

Educational Sponsorships

CCSO chamber ensembles (string trio, brass quintet, woodwind quintet) visit area elementary schools to give students an up-close view of the instruments of the orchestra. These visits influence the students’ decisions to take up an instrument in middle school.

CCSO ON THE GO!

Each year, CCSO provides over 2,500 area students the opportunity to learn about the orchestra and experience symphonic music in a concert designed just for them. Programs are specifically intended to introduce children to the various instruments of the orchestra.

As a nonprofit organization, the CCSO relies on support from our community to continue providing quality entertainment each season. There are many ways you or your group can help with the Corpus Christi Area Youth Orchestra, the CCSO’s education series concerts, subscription season performances, or special events.
